Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 1:
Zoom: This is brilliant for hosting and recording video calls with clients, group calls with more than two participants, break out rooms on video calls. You can also host webinars, share documents and do cross platform messaging. I use their free version and find it really reliable.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 2:
HelloSign: This allows me to upload client contracts, invite clients to view and comment and then sign them online. It saves lots of scanning and back and forward about terms and conditions. I use the free version.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 3:
Acuity Scheduling: Great for setting my calendar availability and allowing clients to select their preferred day and time. You can brand it, set up autoresponders and reminders for appointments, attach pre call questionnaires, embed your calendar into your website, sync with accounting software and mailing list providers, accept payments, offer coupons and so much more. I use their most basic plan.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 4:
Canva: Easy to use design software that enables even a beginner to produce stunning, on brand designs. It has drag and drop functionality and millions of images, photos, fonts, filters, icons, shapes and designs to choose from. It is preloaded with the optimal sizes for all social media graphics. There is a free trial and it is well worth having a go with.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 5:
Tailwind: Must have tool if you use Instagram and/or Pinterest for social media marketing. You can use it to discover content, schedule posts, monitor conversations, amplify your reach and analyse your results. My favourite features are being able to schedule multi-board pinning and also how it automatically optimises my pinning schedules based on when my audience is most active. My friends who use it for Instagram love the way it suggests the best Instagram hashtags. It is also a recognised partner of Pinterest. They offer a free trial.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 6:
Flodesk: This is my all time favourite email platform (and trust me I’ve tried a lot). We all know that growing our own list is hugely important when it comes to launching and making money. But more than that it helps you to build a community. I switched from Active Campaign and it has been a game changer for by business. My favorite thing about the platform is how easy it is to design high converting emails that perfectly match my brand. Best of all they are offering 50% off for new subscribers.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 7:
Female Entrepreneur Association: Community and support as you build your business is everything. I love FEA. I’ve been a member for many years. It’s my go to for meeting new people, getting inspired, business masterclasses and so much more. It has everything all in one place which I love.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 8:
Creative Market: An online market for hand created designs from independent creatives. You can buy individual visual elements to help bring your brand alive. Categories include photos, fonts, patterns, textures, web elements, themes and much more.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 9:
LastPass: This has been an absolute sanity saver for me. I am terrible at remembering passwords and let’s face it there are SOOOO many to remember when you are running a business. So I choose Lastpass as my password manager. It securely stores them for me and also allows me to share them with people I employ.
Business Tools for Entrepreneurs Number 10:
Trello: Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a HUGE Trello fan. I literally keep everything on there, from my marketing research and morning routine, to my goals and weekly planning. It is a brilliant and visual way to organise tasks, share things amongst your team, create to do lists and so much more.
