How to generate free leads to your website everyday
I’m always saying it but business can be so simple if you let it.
Your focus is on getting your audience to:
📣Find you
😍Love you
🌟Buy from you
And that’s it.
And part of the first step (find you) is all about lead generation and knowing how you’re getting new organic leads to your website every day.
That sounds a bit clinical but every new lead is a new person wanting to find out more about you, your amazing skills, products & services. It’s another person ready and willing to fall in love with your mission and what you stand for.
And when you’re ready to really scale your business you’ll be so thankful you had a business lead generation funnel in place so you have an audience ready to buy from you.
So how do you get those organic leads? Read on to find out my 6 steps…

Organic Lead Generation Tip 1: Discover your natural voice
Showing up for your audience and sharing your talents is so much easier when you are doing it in a way that feels natural to you.
I always like to start with what is your natural voice. What is the easiest way for you to communicate with people, rally people, share your mission, your ideas, your energy?
Do you love to write? Then blogging would work for you
Do you love filming and being ‘face to face’ with people? Then video creation would be good for you
Do you love to talk? The maybe you’re a podcaster
Do you love creating graphics and images? Then Canva, Instagram and other visual platforms are your friends.
Once you know what your natural voice is, you’ll find it so much easier to authentically connect with your audience and get them to do stage 2 of simple business – love you.
Organic Lead Generation Tip 2: Produce content your audience needs & wants
You’re producing content to support your audience, add value, establish yourself as the expert and to build a connection with them.
So you want to make sure it’s content that they need and want. One of the best ways to do that is to ask your audience. Survey them, ask in groups where they hang out what help they need, check out comments in others groups to see what they are talking about.
Once you know this, you need to research the keywords and the topic so you can get the best organic lead generation power from it.
Check out this blog on how to create incredible content your audience loves and how to research keywords.
Organic Lead Generation Tip 3: Feel Know Do
This is a brilliant mantra to abide by when creating any content in your business (podcasts, blogs, videos, captions, sales pages, opt in pages, literally anything).
What do you want your audience to feel?
How do you want your audience to feel having watched your video/listened to your podcast/read your social media post?
Inspired? fired up? excited? intrigued? supported? energised?
What do you want your audience to understand?
What do you want your audience to know having checked out your content?
What do they need to know? and what do they want to know? these can be two different things.
What do you want your audience to do?
This is your call to action? As a result of your content what do you want them to do?
Follow you? Share? Book a call? Buy? Join your cause?
It’s really that easy. Write these three words somewhere you can see them and check in with them every time you create anything in your business.
Organic Lead Generation Tip 4: Market the heck out of the content
No point creating your incredible content for lead generation and then not telling anyone about it.
Send it to your email list, post it on your Facebook page and in your group and all over Instagram shout it from the rooftops that you have a new piece of content for your community.
I do all this and also use Pinterest – my absolutely favourite platform. Pinterest marketing drive 95% of all my organic leads to my website and is the start of my lead generation funnel.
It is basically a pretty Google and acts like a search engine. Your content is evergreen on it, so no more posting something and it disappearing down the feed 1 hour later. I have pins on there from 2 years ago that are still driving traffic to my website everyday.

Organic Lead Generation Tip 5: Repurpose the heck out of it
I love to create one piece of amazing content and then repurpose it across lots of different platforms. This makes sure you get the most from the content and you don’t burn out trying to create brand new ideas for all the different places.
So from one blog post I create:
-
3 Facebook live topics
-
Post an engagement question based on the content in my Facebook group
-
Post a quote from the content on my Facebook Page and in my Facebook group
-
Post a summary of the key points on my Facebook Page and in my Facebook group
-
Download my Facebook lives and upload onto IGTV
-
Use the Facebook live topics and do IG Stories based on them
-
Turn the Facebook quote into an Instagram post
-
Post the keypoints summary post to post on LinkedIn
-
Use the engagement questions post from Facebook and turn it into an Instagram Stories poll
The list could go on and on. It might feel like you’re repeating yourself but it’s unlikely your audience will be reading everything you put and be on all your platforms. If they are then they’re huge fans and they won’t mind the repetition.
Organic Lead Generation Tip 6: Get in front of other people’s audiences through collaboration
This is hands down one of my favourite things to do and is such an effective way of generating leads for your business.
It works especially well when you’re in the early stages of your business and building your audience. Some collaboration ideas:
-
Apply to be on other people’s podcasts
-
Facebook live swaps
-
Instagram takeovers
-
Providing a masterclass for their membership
-
Providing sample products to their audience
-
Doing a webinar training for them
-
Affiliate partnership – so you pay them a commission and they market your products or services to their audience
Then it is a simple rinse & repeat. You need to be following these steps consistently and putting out new content weekly to ensure your lead generation funnel is delivering you organic leads.
